How to Find Us

The Museum is located at 2 The Terrace, Wellington, New Zealand.

Opening hours

It is open from 9.30am - 4.00pm
Mon-Fri, closed weekends, and public holidays.

Additional summer hours:
open every Saturday 9:30am - 4:00pm in January and February.

Moniac Demonstrations:
Demonstrations of Moniac are held on the first Wednesday of the month between 12.15pm and 12.45pm.

We are just 5min walk from Wellington Central Station.

Parking

Metered street parking if you're lucky. There are a number of car parking buildings nearby, but many of them only have an attendant on duty until 10am. The council owned Clifton Terrace car park is manned all day and the Tournament car park off Bowen Street has a ticket machine.

Disability Access

The entrance to the Reserve Bank building has wheelchair access. The Museum is just inside the main foyer.
